I work as a Director of AI and Automation at Arch Capital Services focused on generative artificial intelligence applications for insurance, insurance professional support, and insurance adjacent applications.

Some high level professional history:

• Lead of the Generative Artificial Intelligence Factory for The Hartford’s Commercial Lines Data Science and Analytics Organization.
• Director of data science for The Hartford in the Artificial Intelligence Factory leading scientists and engineers while specializing in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and being the Technical Lead of Generative AI
• Senior data scientist for The Hartford in Claims Data Science focused on Workers Compensation
• Worked as a data scientist for Pratt & Whitney
• Data scientist at Boise Analytics where I was a partner
• Taught students at universities (University of Connecticut, Boise State University, Post University)
• Conducted economic research and consulted for dissertations
• Flew planes for the US Army as a soldier and as a civilian

On the personal side: I am a father, husband, and a guy who loves to smoke brisket.

My academic highlights are:

• MS in Quantitative Economics from University of Connecticut
