Hi, I’m Christopher Daigle!
I work as the Lead of the Generative Artificial Intelligence Factory for The Hartford’s Commercial Lines Data Science and Analytics Organization.
Previously, I:
- Worked as a director of data science for The Hartford in the Artificial Intelligence Factory leading scientists and engineers while specializing in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and being the Technical Lead of Generative AI
- Worked as a senior data scientist for The Hartford in Claims Data Science focused on Workers Compensation
- Worked as a data scientist for Pratt & Whitney
- Worked as a data scientist at Boise Analytics where I was a partner
- Taught students at universities (University of Connecticut, Boise State University, Post University)
- Conducted economic research and consulted for dissertations
- Flew planes for the US Army
On the personal side: I am a father, husband, and a guy who loves to smoke brisket.
My academic highlights are:
- MS in Quantitative Economics from University of Connecticut
- Economic research in partnership with Yale University, University of Connecticut, George Mason University, Boise State University, and Idaho Voices for Children
- First 2-years course work of an economics PhD at University of Connecticut
